The Warframe was battered and defeated, but its Exoframe self was stronger, more durable as it held the Volt frame in its arms before the Ronin frame looked up to the tyrant that had done such a foul act, the Grineer Inquisitor Exo that stood ready for combat as it stared the opponent down, its mechanical hands free from any weapons except the jets that fueled the punches and the nozzles that surge out scorching flames.
The Ronin stood up and turned, handing the frame to its Tenno allies before turning back to the Exo and pulling out its Musa Ronin blade and got into a stance for battle, silence filled the area as the conflict had died down before both charged, clashing against each other with force, the Musa blade gripped by one clamp while the Ronin's shoulder was gripped with the other, it became a battle of strength, the Inquistor was not the strongest, but it was the more versatile as its hefty torso started to push slowly when the Ronin could only barely return the strength before, with the clamp holding the shoulder, it pulled back, jets firing up, and slammed into the Ronin, leaving a solid dent in the armor and the Operator felt the surge of pain that came from it, they regained their footing from the distance that blasted them back, the pain just like a Warframe would feel from such attacks on a equal scale.
The Ronin stood back up and charged, leave none to chance or defense as it swung the blade and the battle truly started, the Grineer Exo crouching under the swing and used its attached engines to surge it forward, but the attack was not done as the blade came back and slashed through the engines that was attached to the back, rendering the ram useless as it slid pass and seemed to glance that the engines before turning back and attacking again, it was not a berserker in the frame, it was a commander who knew the risk, who knew their life could end seconds into their cloning, but they were loyal, they were willing to die for a cause that was true to them, one for the Empire and the other to someone who made a meaning out of their lives instead of sending them to their own doom.
The Tenno Operator knew this as they willed the Exo Warframe to combat again, but the Musa blade was dodged and knocked out of the Ronin's grasps, turning the fight into a hand-to-hand type of situation, one that the Ronin was unprepared for as the Inquisitor delivered punch for punch into the frame, the feeling traumatic for a standard frame...
...But not the start of a Exo Warframe as it was pushed back some from the punches, but returned the fight to the Grinner, five-fingered hands combating four-digit clamps, as they dodged, weaved, punched, socked, and smashed like it was a match of old when combatants used their fists to win, only their hands as the Ronin quickly gained the upper hand and delivered an uppercut to the Exoframe, trampling it over as it stood victorious over its fallen foe. The Tenno members moved to the machine and readied their weapons as the voice within spoke. "Hold...hold..." That was the start as something opened up in the chest plate and a display appeared to a figure that turned and looked at the Ronin, the same figure that clad itself in a robe and cloak instead of just armor.

"So you have bested my agent on the surface, well done, but you should understand that this world is no longer yours, the system of Ceres belongs solely to the Grineer and, though we have allowed you to take our Fomorian cores to rid the Fomorian threat upon the system, I can not allow you to have even ONE of the powerful Exoframes that we have constructed in secret." The Ronin sharply looked up to the sky as a small fleet came out of warp and the guns that were aboard the ships, ranging from new designs and the Galleon ships, turned to the surface, right for them. "Be wise and run, you may fight another day or you could all perish at once."
Battle was the only thing that could keep the Grineer in line and force them back, but the Operator was not a fool, this Exo Warframe was one of a kind and it was hard to get it, let alone get it standing on its own two feet again with new methods and attempts. The group understood that if they lost a Ronin, then they were be undermined in the long run as three lifted the Musa blade and handed it to the Ronin, it sheathing the weapon as it stepped back some before speaking, the members still on guard as the voice, turned more machined in the armor than normal, spoke.
"This is not over, Grineer, we will stop this rampage that you have began."
"And I look forward to your attempts, may those hopes and promises hold you up when all the cards are stacked against you." A number of shuttles headed in, both sides of the conflict coming to pick up their members, the dead and wound, the soldier and civilian, even the Tenno and its initial frame was taken away, to mend the wounds that has been inflicted and to repair the will that was once shattered a long while ago, the Grineer are violent, are dangerous to let live, and pose a severe threat to the system, but...
...There will come a time to fight once more, to leave them alive to acknowledge their losses was a sign of mercy, the Operator knew this as the system was changing, revolts and incursions now filled the ranks of both Grineer and Corpus, and any Infested were terminated without it becoming too large-scale... Yes, the system was changing and that was why the Tenno, once guardians of the Orokin, now return, to make things right in a system that now was experiencing change, to face the threat and safeguard those who need it, their allies still those same foes that they meet on the field, the Inquisitor getting up with the aid of some laborers and boarding a larger shuttle of Grineer and rested, its occupant breathing slowly as the display swithed to the capital ship in the fleet, the figure closing the channel and musing. "The Tenno forces are strong, we have lost a sizable amount in this skirmish, even three outposts to that Ronin..."

"Should we pursue then?"
"No... the Commander gave us orders and we will follow them through, the Tenno were a minor threat in the grand scheme..." The figure looked out to the stars as the shuttles loaded up the ships. "They need to become better than what we have seen today, they have to be stronger if they are to face the threat that grows from both within and without." The ships turned and jumped as another fleet arrived, dispatching shuttles to repair and fill in the ranks, sides of a conflict that has changed as members start to splinter off into new cells, both titans in the system losing their power as both corruption and interest change the system around them and there was no clear answer... only whispers and questions filled the Voic of space around them...

Just a minor short of the Exoframes, it is a small thing, but it has promise...
Though I question myself about the cliffhanger.
