After they had battle through the dead, The now-changed souls found a more calm area which left them to their thoughts, discussing what could have happened. "It is nay impossible that such magics exist that could send someone here, but in the brief times of my stir, I had felt wethered hands carrying me and drop me here before I realized it."

Cornelius hummed in thought as well as blue and red glowed in the shadows, warding off spirits that dared not get any closer. "So someone or something carried us here, but what sort of magic could have changed us?"

"That I do not know, my prince, but I do know of a method of which we can leave." Tyrina continued as she had crossed her legs. "Though it be a mere rumor, we need to get permission to leave from the Queen, though I don't not know where she could be."

"I sense signs of life in this land ruled by carnage and destruction..." Both leapt to their feet as a voice seemed to echo in the hollow passages, a dim-blue light coming toward them as some ghastly creature approached, holding high a trio of melting candles, always burning yet never fading as it paused before them. "Be this a trick? Can I hope? Alas, I have naught to lose." It started to approach again as it spoke its words. "All I feel now is resentment and hatred... I have lost any compassion I once had." It stopped short as Cornelius drew his blade and one of Tyrina's fans extended out for combat before the changed prince spoke.

"You! Walking Skeleton! Stop right there!" The being had done so before the prince asked. "Who are you?"

"I do not remember names..." The skeletal form returned the question with its hollow eyes. "Who are you, aimlessly roaming this land? What purpose do you have? Spirits and goblins shall find you and tear your tender flesh to ribbons." Cornelius was wise to not give his name yet as he sheathed his blade and inquired.

"What do you suggest I do?"

"You..." The figure looked about before leaning the candle stand softly on its shoulder. "Do you wish to leave here?" Both nodded as the skeleton continued. "In order to do so, 'tis necessary to receive permission from the queen." It started to turn as if to gesture to follow. "Let me guide you to her." It finished up with one last statement. "But in compensation for my services, I ask you to take me with you when you leave. Agreed?" Tyrina wore a look of worry as Cornelius breathed.

How greedy of you... I cannot promise your safety." Both started to follow from a short distance as the skeleton started to lead, giving a bit of issue that they were too far away from the candle light...

__________

The two fought through the danger as the spirits of fallen animals called Ghouls, more Geists and their female counterparts, along with Haunts, descended upon them with the very ground seeding forth strange growths while the guardians of Halja Wraith and the Boltergeist tested their very resolve to the end, finding few goods to purchase from the various shop Geists as they headed for the seat of power for the queen, the shrine of the Underworld.

__________

Upon arriving to the entrance, Cornelius paused before drawing his weapon, still curious about it as he spoke. "What an odd blade... 'Tis frighteningly sharp." He nodded at the belief. "It must be a magic sword." Tyrina could say the same about her fans as they had discovered an odd stone that attuned to their weapons, the Phozons able to be used to empower the weapons further and with skills that they could use.

"Indeed it is..." Both members were spooked out of their thoughts as a graceful voice sounded from the far side of the shrine, the Queen Odette herself greeting them with cold eyes. "A sword made from the jewels selfishly stolen from here by the Dwarves..." She seemed to smirk in arrogance as she talked down to them, though it wasn't too hard, she was quite towering. "Sinful bandits who have blundered into the Netherworld while alive. Ask yourself how you came to hold that sword." She then made an offer, completely ignoring Tyrina and her own weapon. "If you wish for the queen's compassion, be a dear and hand it over to me.I will give you a peaceful death."

Cornelius, on the other hand, spoke in question. "You are the queen of the Netherworld? I am the prince of Titania." Tyrina mused in silence as the title would not have any weight on the undead queen, still the prince made to say his piece. "I do not know why I am here. I would like you to return me to the living world." The Queen was not easy to sway, however, as she returned to request.

Once you enter this land, you cannot be allowed to leave." She just emitted a dark emotion, as if meaning for the dead. "Whoever you are is irrelevant... Your careless existence makes you want to leave." She huffed in glee or spite, neither could tell. "This is the land of the dead. Once you taste death, you will appreciate it." She let no room for arguments as the fight began, both the members battling the great queen while their guide took off elsewhere as they battled against the queen's power, her minions doing little as Tyrina conjured forth a cyclone, destroying those in the light of the wandering candle bearers and harming the queen as Cornelius closed the gap with ease. Even with her dangerous tricks, the two prevailed as she floated to the ground with minor wounds. "Fine, go if you wish..." Both sheathed their weapons as Odette continued, her dim eyes giving a bit of light to the fans as she continued, neither pleased or grateful for something. "Even if you leave here, you will enter the Demon Lord's domain." She huffed as the words flowed out. "The Valkyrie that serve that man are always searching for trespassers. They will capture you." The prince and consort started to walk as the queen straightened up. "You may wail in futility. but I must inform you..." Tyrina gave a short turn while the prince's back was still to the queen, but his head gave a small glance. "Those who are placed in the Netherworld while alive are sinner facing my judgement." She light shakes her head as she continues. "Such people never find peace even after death. They are destined to be torn apart by ghosts and shall forever wander the land." She then gestured to some of those spirits as the pair looked at them. "You will join them..." Cornelius looked for a bit, lowered his head before his hand was balled up and he sharply turned with righteous will behind him.

"But I was not sent here, nor was my charge. We have not sinned or committed any crime. I merely woke up and found myself and my charge here..." Tyrina bowed and turned as Cornelius bid the queen farewell. "Queen of the Underworld, I shall go." He raised his fist to his chest with will and duty to prove his conviction. "Allow me to prove to you that this is some mistake." Cornelius started to head off as Odette shook her head and spoke.

"Your short life is a dream. Death shall awaken you. Your sword has prolonged it. Your soul shall never rest. The Pooka shall stay afloat with a candle and light the way across the desolation." Her voice continued to echo as the two headed to the light. "Prepare yourself..."

__________

'So Tyrina and I have escaped the Netherworld... But as the queen had warned, we soon became prisoners of the Demon Lord.' The event that transpired following the capture was the pair resting for a short distance of leaving the Netherworld, but they were soon surprised and taken by a search party that belonged to the Demon Lord, Odin whose daughter brought their to the capital for proper judgement, her aide also seeing it wiser than slaying them without proper reason and with only heresay...

So sorry for the long wait, but I just could find the proper time to get the chapters up in time.
